Programma voor studenten

The JEF festival also prepares a separate program for film students. The absolute highlight this year is the Make it short competition, in which we give five teams of film students the opportunity to make a short film in three days time. The submissions have now been closed, and the participants have been selected!

Make it short

In this competition, organized by JEF, students are offered every help to complete a brand new short film super quickly! Each team is supervised by a director, active within the Flemish film industry. The process takes three days. The projects must be fully completed within this period. The five short films should last approximately five minutes each.

The selected project teams consist of at least 4 members:

• 1 director / author

• 1 camera

• 1 audio

• 1 editing

And a movie of course needs a festive premiere! This will be organized on Sunday 23 February during the JEF festival in Antwerp. The festival’s Student Talks also take place on that day.
